We're a Utah software company. We build systems people depend on daily, and we stay on to run them.
Why we started TechJump
We spent years building software — scheduling platforms, payment systems, media libraries, mobile apps — and kept seeing the same gap. Organizations with real operational problems were being handed either enterprise software that forced them to change how they worked, or a proposal so heavy that nothing ever got built. Good work kept dying at the quote stage.
So we built the company we wanted to hire. Discovery first, a written scope you own whether or not you use us, an honest number before development starts, and the same team still answering the phone a year after launch. We're deliberately small, which means the people who scoped your project are the people building it.
Today that work splits two ways. Most of it is custom — platforms, web applications and integrations built to an organization's requirements and quoted per engagement. Alongside it we run a packaged website service for contractors and trades, which came out of watching the same excellent local businesses lose work to competitors who simply showed up first on Google. Different clients, different economics, same standards.
We're based in Utah and most of our clients are too. Staying close to the people we build for is deliberate: it's most of what makes the discovery conversation worth having.
Meet Our Founders
Grayson
Co-Founder & CEO
Grayson runs the business side and takes most of the first calls. He spends his time working out what a client actually needs built and what it will take to do it — whether that's a platform with a multi-year roadmap or a website that has to ring the phone.
Jevohn
Co-Founder & CTO
Jevohn leads the build. He's spent his career on cloud architecture and shipping production software, and he holds the line on speed, security and uptime for everything we launch.

Plain language, plain pricing
Written scopes, written quotes, and a number before work starts. You should never wonder what a line on your invoice means or what you agreed to.
Built to be used
Software that demos well and then sits unused hasn't done its job. We design around the person who has to open it on a Tuesday morning and get something done.
We answer the phone
You get the people who built the thing, not a ticket queue. Every agreement carries a committed response time and we hold ourselves to it.
You own what we build
Source code, data and infrastructure accounts stay yours. We'd rather earn the next year of work than make leaving difficult.
